Your first week
A 5-day onboarding plan. Paper-only the entire week. Do not skip days.
Day 1 — Read the cockpit
- Connect Paper only. Skip live brokers for now.
- Open the cockpit. Spend 30 minutes watching without clicking anything. Watch the breadth pill flip, the AI bubble appear, signals project + activate.
- Open Reading the cockpit and identify each panel on screen.
Day 2 — Take 3 paper signals
- Take 3 trades total. Pick high-convergence (≥75) FIB_786 longs only. Skip everything else.
- After each trade closes, read the AI debrief. Don't skim it.
- Note any emotional reactions in a notebook.
Day 3 — Add a second pattern
- Add IMPULSE_REV to your watch list. Take 5 trades total today.
- Open Performance after the close — read the win-rate-by-pattern breakdown.
Day 4 — Try auto-trade (paper)
- Settings → set Max risk $ to half what you would risk live. Set Max daily loss to 3× max risk.
- Toggle auto-trade on for ES paper account.
- Walk away for the morning session. Come back, read the trade log.
Day 5 — Compare
- Open Performance → filter to this week.
- Compare auto-trade outcomes vs. manual trades. Which had higher win rate? Which had bigger losses?
- Read 5 random AI debriefs. Identify your top mistake.
Look for
Auto + manual on paper this week match within ±10% win rate. That means the system works for your psychology AND the math is right.
Avoid
Going live before you've had a losing day on paper. You need to see how Phihelm handles drawdown beforereal money is in play. If you haven't lost on paper yet, wait another week.
Going live
When paper checks out, connect a live broker and start with the smallest size your broker allows (1 ctx ES, 1 share equity, 1 contract options). Trade live for 2 weeks at minimum size before scaling.
The whole goal of the first month is to discover where your edge is and where it isn't. Phihelm will show you both if you let it.
